24×16 Prints for Sale

print sale - own a piece of xgray vision
Own a piece of XGRAY VISION.

Before I commit these to another exhibition somewhere, I wanted to give all my non-local and/or online friends an equal chance to purchase one of these prints.

Each photo is a 24×16 print that has been framed (un-matted) in a plain black metal frame with anti-glare acrylic glazing. These photos happen to be some of my favorites, and I think they really turned out great.

I’m selling each photo in this group for $200. UPS ground shipping to the lower 48 states is estimated to be $50, which includes insurance. Other shipping options, including international shipping, are available at additional cost.

If interested, leave a comment or send me an email: stephen@xgrayvision.com

To get a better look at each, click the links below or the links in each note which gives them the "view large on black" treatment. (Links open in new window.)

Shadow’s creep

Shadow season continues, although with the time change it’s a bit harder for me to take advantage. I don’t usually leave the day job until it’s almost dark these days. Luckily, I’m still getting a few good shots and it’s early in the season yet.

For me, thick shadows as in this photo often suggest some kind of dark mass–perhaps something sinister–creeping across the scene.

Paneling: More repetition

paneling with button

Using the wide angle lens allowed me to minimize the subject more than in the original shot (bottom) and create more of a wallscape image. The light that day also gave the wood a warmer and more contrasted tone. A current favorite to be sure.

I really liked the placement of the fliers. Makes me wonder if it’s completely random or if each subsequent flier-poster attempted to create an visually acceptable pattern.

The original…

I took this about a year and a half ago, while I was actually focused on collecting photos of handi-accesible door buttons. That’s why this photo is more of my more familiar minimal composition (subject shunted off to one quadrant of the frame) rather than the expanded “full wall view” of the top image. I still like this one a great deal. Would make a nice print.
