Went out Sunday afternoon to scout Chapel Dulcinea as location for a wedding shoot, which has since fallen through. I was basically doing them a favor, but it’s still rather annoying. Luckily, the trip wasn’t a total loss, because I got this photo. The chapel is a little spanish style pavilion on the side of a hill southwest of Austin and its open structure means that there are lots of little shafts of light moving through it during the day. I noticed as Amanda happened to walk through one and knew that would be a great photo. Of course it took some direction and few shots to get it right, but I’m very happy with the result.

The moral of the story: No trip is a waste of time, if provides a good photo-op.
